This luminary is constructed of two wooden panels, between which a piece of aged vellum has been placed to diffuse the candlelight as well as reinforce the meticulously cut details of the panels. The image depicts the recognizable Deathly Hallows, with the twisted visage of Death silhouetted amongst the three items it created for the Peverell brothers (according to Beedle the Bard). Laser-cut, stained in customer's choice of color and hand-finished, this unique creation will add an eye-catching element to any room, particularly when lit during the evening hours!

Due to the materials used in this item's construction, IT IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED that only battery-operated tea light or votive candles are used. There are many brands and styles available elsewhere online, with varying battery life capabilities. Luminara is an outstanding product that is perhaps the most convincing as far as 'flame', but also has exceptional battery life and built-in timers.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
A wooden candle luminary, in panel/blind style. Constructed of 1/8-inch birch ply and vellum. The luminary is created by two laser-cut wood layers assembled with the translucent vellum between them, creating a blind that hides the light source, reinforces the detailed cuts of the image, and diffuses the light when in use. The panels are mounted into a base utilizing a tab-in-slot construction, and all parts are adhered together using a cyanoacrylate glue specifically formulated for wood. The bottom of the stand has a cork pad to help protect household surfaces as well as provide some resistance to inadvertent movement. A satin lacquer protects the surfaces.
