Book Box: "Golden Age" - Handcrafted Wooden Box w/ Pirate Theme - MADE TO ORDER

A unique wooden box resembling an old world book, complete with a double-hinged 'butterfly' style lid and decorated with piratical flair - perfect for any pirate to store their maps, letters, and trinkets within! Featuring high resolution laser-engraved artwork, and a dual staining process for an extra level of detail, this book-box is very resilient and durable, with double layered construction that also lends greatly to its overall appearance. The top is hinged with a cleverly integrated wooden hinge system, and features an overlapping butterfly-style closure. The interior of the box is spacious, nearly A4 in size, and is lined in jeweler's velvet as further protection for the items stored within. Real leather lace 'ties' the centered medallion to the box lid, and the medallion and binding titles are hand painted to convey a metallic appearance. This handcrafted wooden box makes a wonderful gift for any pirate at heart, and is built to last for generations, holding both treasured valuables and cherished memories.

• MATERIALS USED: birch plywood, EVA foam, jeweler's velvet
• CUSTOMIZATIONS AVAILABLE: Selectable stain colors for the book box cover layers and binding edges. Samples of stain color can be found on the chart supplied in the Photos. "Outer Layers" are the front and back covers and the binding edges (minus the nameplate); "Inner Layers" are the lid underpanels, top and bottom box walls, and nameplates on the binding edges. Metallic accents are typically gold, in keeping with the theme - but requests for a specific color are welcomed - please message me! Velvet color will be either deep red or black, whichever complements the chosen stain colors best.
