This highly detailed set of hardwood Elder Futhark runes comes complete with a small decorative wooden box, making this a very portable and easily packed set - perfect for bringing along on the next great adventure! The runes are engraved and cut from either domestic or exotic hardwood (cherry, maple, padauk, or walnut), and the artwork features an intricate knotwork design onto which each rune is superimposed. The rune tiles have a great feel to them, measuring just over 1-inch in diameter and 1/4-inch thick, with the back of each tile left plain and smooth, displaying the natural beauty of the wood. The box is created from resilient birch plywood, and features an ornate wooden framework on the exterior that attractively reinforces the box construction. A hand painted medallion depicting a knotted tree adorns the top. This set will make an excellent gift for anyone interested in divination magic and/or Scandinavian lore, and is sure to last for many readings and many journeys over the years.

• MATERIALS USED: hardwood, birch plywood, water and oil-based stains
• CUSTOMIZATIONS AVAILABLE: selectable hardwood for the runes as well as stain colors for the box. Stain color examples are displayed on the sample chart located in the Photos; colors are limited to those listed in the option drop-down selector. In all creations, the ornate frame on the exterior will be black.
The medallion metallic hue and interior velvet color are typically at the discretion of the maker, in complement to the chosen stain color and rune wood type. Requests for specific colors are welcomed - please message me!

Due to the nature of the majority of my work, and the typical amount of business that comes through my shop, wholesale items are not available.

Holiday ordering
During the Christmas holiday season, I can quickly become VERY busy; typically putting in 12 hour days in order to make holiday shipping deadlines.
Please plan ahead - I begin taking Christmas orders in late August, but due to workload, I will close the shop to further made-to-order requests the first week of December. Ready to ship items remain listed and ship as stated in their listing.
Shipping times
In the case of any custom or Made To Order item, I try very hard to meet the listed production/ship time for the listed item. However, I am a one-man shop, and the handcrafted nature of the work, particularly during busy periods, can cause delays. If you require your item by a specific date, please inquire first.
