Laser engraved and handcrafted from birch plywood, this lantern features beautifully designed scrollwork screens and a magnetic bottom panel for the votive or tealight candle, allowing the lantern to be displayed hanging or standing. A flameless, simple ON/OFF votive candle is included with each lantern, and more sophisticated versions found on other sites can allow for the candle to be operated remotely. A great addition for those who love the medieval fantasy, old-timey style, or for that special person in your life who appreciates uniquely crafted and functional decor.

• CUSTOMIZATIONS AVAILABLE: selectable stain color for the lantern top assembly (including the hanging loop), as well as selectable stain or metallic color for the lantern screens. In all creations, the framework structure will be stained Black. A stain color chart is included in the Photos; please use the drop-down options selectors to choose your desired look! Stain and metallic colors are limited to those listed.

Holiday ordering
During the Christmas holiday season, I can quickly become VERY busy; typically putting in 12 hour days in order to make holiday shipping deadlines.
Please plan ahead - I begin taking Christmas orders in late August, but due to workload, I will close the shop to further made-to-order requests the first week of December. Ready to ship items remain listed and ship as stated in their listing.

In the case of any custom or Made To Order item, I try very hard to meet the listed production/ship time for the listed item. However, I am a one-man shop, and the handcrafted nature of the work, particularly during busy periods, can cause delays. If you require your item by a specific date, please inquire first.
