This wonderfully designed and decorated wooden chest, "Gaelic Bonds", is perfect as a keepsake box, jewelry chest, or any other function a mid-sized box could fulfill. Handcrafted from birch plywood, with high resolution laser-engraved artwork and rich colorful details, this chest is very resilient and durable, with double layers that also lend greatly to its overall appearance. The box features a classic Triskelion design on the lid and along the lengths of the two wooden straps, which are hinged on the front and magnetized to keep the chest securely closed. Additionally, finely detailed knotwork trim along the edges is hand painted in a realistic metallic hue, and the interior is lined in soft jeweler's velvet as further protection for the items stored within. This chest is an enduring creation that will last many generations and hold many valuables, whether literal or sentimental, over the years.

• CUSTOMIZATIONS AVAILABLE: selectable stain color for the box straps and handles, as well as metallic hue for the knotwork trim and 'buckles' on the straps; please refer to the stain color chart in the Photos. In all creations, sub-structure parts will be stained Black (such as the handle arch, strap hinges, etc). Box body color is at the discretion of the maker, but will always be a deep, rich wooden hue. Requests for a specific box color are welcomed - please message me!
🎨 Velvet color is selected by the maker and will be complementary to the overall appearance of the completed chest.

Due to the nature of the majority of my work, and the typical amount of business that comes through my shop, wholesale items are not available.

Holiday ordering
During the Christmas holiday season, I can quickly become VERY busy; typically putting in 12 hour days in order to make holiday shipping deadlines.
Please plan ahead - I begin taking Christmas orders in late August, but due to workload, I will close the shop to further made-to-order requests the first week of December. Ready to ship items remain listed and ship as stated in their listing.
Shipping times
In the case of any custom or Made To Order item, I try very hard to meet the listed production/ship time for the listed item. However, I am a one-man shop, and the handcrafted nature of the work, particularly during busy periods, can cause delays. If you require your item by a specific date, please inquire first.
