This large wooden chest or desktop trunk boasts a spacious, velvet-lined interior and a meticulously engraved exterior, sure to captivate the eye with its enchanting presence in any room. The "Glyphed Arcanum" trunk of holding is crafted from birch plywood and is ornamented by Celtic-themed knotwork paired with glyphs and runes, further enhanced by a dual staining process for intricate detail. The trunk's robust construction, featuring double layers at key structural points and decorative bracing, ensures exceptional resilience and durability. Customers can customize their order with options such as accent stain color for the lid emblem and corner knotwork, and mirrored acrylic for the interior lid (see "CUSTOMIZATIONS AVAILABLE" below). This trunk is built to last for generations, preserving your most treasured possessions, both literal and sentimental, for years to come.
đ§ââď¸ Creator's Note - 01/22/26: In future creations, the inlaid medallion on the lid will be engraved in greater detail, with engraved 'void' areas to make the knotwork designs more distinct. Photos of these details will be uploaded for example when another trunk is created.

⢠ARTWORK AVAILABLE: as shown.
⢠MATERIALS USED: birch plywood, water and oil-based stains, EVA foam, jeweler's velvet
⢠CUSTOMIZATIONS AVAILABLE: stain color for the lid emblem, with an added option for the same color on the knotwork bands at the corner sides and top; please use the options drop-down selector to request your desired color. A chart with available colors is included in the Photos. In all creations, the sides and top panel of the trunk will be stained a deep wood hue, with the corner structures and other frame components stained in Ebony or another dark, 'iron-like' stain (creator's discretion). Additionally, customers may request a piece of mirrored acrylic be installed in the interior (underside) of the lid, instead of the standard velvet. Velvet color is at the discretion of the maker, and will either complement the emblem stain color or be Black.

Due to the nature of the majority of my work, and the typical amount of business that comes through my shop, wholesale items are not available.

Holiday ordering
During the Christmas holiday season, I can quickly become VERY busy; typically putting in 12 hour days in order to make holiday shipping deadlines.
Please plan ahead - I begin taking Christmas orders in late August, but due to workload, I will close the shop to further made-to-order requests the first week of December. Ready to ship items remain listed and ship as stated in their listing.
Shipping times
In the case of any custom or Made To Order item, I try very hard to meet the listed production/ship time for the listed item. However, I am a one-man shop, and the handcrafted nature of the work, particularly during busy periods, can cause delays. If you require your item by a specific date, please inquire first.
